15-16 - International Symposium on Neurorehabilitation, From Basics to Future, Valencia, Spain. The main goal of the “International Symposium on Neurorehabilitation” is to provide attendees with an update on the current state of knowledge in motor and cognitive neurorehabilitation after acquired brain injury. The organizers have included talks on the most recent technological advances, such as robotics and virtual reality, as well as, basic science underpinnings of neurorehabilitation, such as neuroplasticity and neural repair. The Symposium agenda has been designed to also attempt to resolve assessment differences between professionals in the neurorehabilitation community in an effort to find a “common language” both clinical and forensic evaluation. The NISA Hospitals Brain Injury Service and Labhuman have been working together with the Catedra Santiago Grisolia to organize this “International Symposium on NeuroRehabilitation”.
